Maxwell Max is a 2 yr old min pin (or maybe a manchester? Anyone have thoughts on that?). He weighs 19 lbs. He's a VERY cool dog-- he's playful, happy, cuddly; he loves other dogs but he is a bit dominant. He's fine with cats and all the livestock here. He'd do best with a fun loving, active family; he's not really for the elderly (much too active). |

| LIZA Liza is a very sweet girl who looks a little rough right now, but soon she'll be all healed! She was rescued after spending her entire life chained in a filthy, muddy pit behind a barn and used as a puppy factory. When we rescued her, she reeked of infection and the vet determined a massive infection had spread from what was possibly an envenomation from a spider or snake bite; she required surgery to remove necrotic tissues from her shoulder, chest, and neck area. She would not have survived much longer without treatment. She is now on a heavy antibiotic treatment and is well on her way to healing. Liza wants nothing more than to be held and loved on. She lives for belly rubs. She'll climb in your lap for hugs every chance she gets! She is an incredibly sweet, trusting dog despite her life of neglect and boredom. She needs a home that understands Basset Hounds and their affinity to voice all of their concerns... yes, she's a barker... but her sweetness and eagerness to please makes up for it!! |
